Bruins coming up to Thanksgiving weekend

The Boston Bruins have struggled lately with multiple injuries but have managed to keep a 13-9-1 record and remain tied for third in the Atlantic Division with the Detroit Red Wings. They gained a point last night over the Pittsburgh Penguins but lost in overtime behind the stick of Evgeni Malkin who scored his second goal of the game.

Milan Lucic and Joe Morrow scored the only two goals for Boston in the 2-3 overtime loss. Milan's fourth goal of the season was assisted by Loui Eriksson and Carl Soderberg. Joe Morrow scored his first career NHL goal and was assisted by Dougie Hamilton and Simon Gagne. Their next game is on Friday November, 28 against the Winnipeg Jets who are 10-9-3 overall.


Injury Report as of November 24, 2014

David Krejci with an undisclosed injury (Day To Day). Did not play against the Penguins.

Brad Marchand with an undisclosed injury (Game Time Decision). Played against the Penguins, had 3 shots and a -1 +/- rating.

Chris Kelly with an undisclosed injury (Game Time Decision). Did not play against the Penguins.

Zdeno Chara with a knee injury skated Monday morning.

Adam McQuaid with a thumb injury was placed on injured reserve on Thursday November, 20.
